Mayan Tzolkin

Seal Description

Dragon - Color: Rojo
Power: Birth
Action: To Nurture
Essence: To Be

The Red Dragon represents the beginning, the primary source, the mother of life, the primordial waters, that which gives birth, the initiator, the provider. The first cause, the origin of everything, that nourishes life.

It is the first seal of the Tzolkin, carrying the primordial energy of early life. It represents our deepest essence, the source of our existence. It is the energy that manifests what is most hidden within us, something often unknown to our consciousness.

On the day of the Red Dragon, you will feel deeply connected to the most intimate desires of your soul, which are usually hidden on other days. It is a day to express those desires to the universe and to the people around you. It is the day to ask the universe for what you need and what you truly want in life.

It is the day to begin, to nurture ideas and to give birth.

The Dragon reminds us that the universe is constantly listening to us and that we are fully responsible for the events we experience.

As individual beings, we are part of a larger whole. When we can see life as something coming from a single source, we gain empathy, patience, and kindness. By nurturing others, we nurture ourselves and our unification.

This seal leads us to question what lies behind life, what is beneath all that we are and do. We access the state of being when we are free from any commitment, direction, or obligation. When we have nothing to prove or nowhere to go, we are left with a pure and abundant existence.

Mindfulness meditation sessions offer a space of calm where awareness helps inhabit the present. Through conscious breathing and observing sensations and thoughts, relaxation and mental clarity are encouraged.
